Old Southwest, Inc. is governed by a Board of Directors elected by and composed of OSW residents (home owners or renters). The president serves a two-year term. Other board officers and members-at-large serve a one-year term. The Board term begins in January and ends in December. Elections are held each year at the public annual meeting of the organization. Any good-standing voting member of the organization (as defined in the by-laws) may be nominated for an elected position. The Board of Directors is comprised of 5 to 7 at-large directors, and 4 officers: President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary.
