Update! Block Pride #43 is Saturday, October 6th, 2018

Block Pride #42, Old Southwest collected 10 Tons of waste with the 20 people that we know of who signed in. We really appreciate those who helped out and volunteered!!

Block Pride #42, 21 years and still going strong!!

Block Pride is the Bi-annual Neighborhood Cleanup of the alleys and the streets, cleaning up everything that we can in Old Southwest in 5 hours.

It is a great way to meet some great neighbors while showing you care about the neighborhood you live in, whether for just an hour or five!! Come show your neighborhood pride and have a little fun along the way.

Participants please call ahead for large groups or you can stop by during Block Pride at the Operations Center at the tents @ the corner of 8th Street and Day Ave SW or 4th Street and Washington Ave. When you sign in, please pick up gloves, trash bags and other supplies.

Pizza and drinks will be served to the volunteers afterwards at 8th and Day. Sometimes clean up is completed a little early.
